About Me

I’m glad you’re here!

I’m Julia (she/her), a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I became a therapist because I truly love the opportunity to learn each person’s story and to witness their capacity for growth. I am honored to have the opportunity to support clients by empowering them to realize and highlight their own strengths to build a life worth living.

I grew up on the East Coast, and completed a Bachelor’s in Psychology at Boston University, then had the opportunity to learn more about mental health while working in residential group homes for adults. I moved to beautiful San Diego (and never looked back!) for graduate school, where I completed my Master’s of Social Work at San Diego State University. Since then, I have had the opportunity to work with clients from many walks of life, including college/graduate students, veterans and military families, underserved individuals in a community mental health setting, pregnant and postpartum parents.

Clients often tell me they appreciate my warm, down-to-earth approach. I strive to balance compassion with practical tools, helping you better understand yourself while building skills to navigate life's challenges with greater confidence.

In my free time, I am a passionate traveler, foodie, pickleball player, and love spending time with friends and family.

I look forward to hearing your story!
